“I just want to be absolutely clear all right. I don’t want any misunderstanding when y’all go home and you’re talking to your buddies and they say, 'he wants to take my gun away.' You heard it here. I’m on television so everyone knows it. I believe in the Second Amendment. I believe in people's lawful right to bear arms. I will not take your shotgun away. I will not take your rifle away. I won’t take your handgun away.”
Now compare the remarks above to Obama’s remarks concerning ObamaCare…
“That means that no matter how we reform health care, we will keep this promise to the American people: If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period. If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan, period. No one will take it away, no matter what.” — June 15, 2009
“And if you like your insurance plan, you will keep it. No one will be able to take that away from you. It hasn’t happened yet. It won’t happen in the future.” — April 1, 2010
Obama was on TV multiple times repeating the mantra, “If you like your doctor, you can keep him. If you like your health plan, you can keep it.” We heard him right there on the TV, as he said, “everyone knows it.” But now the left wing apologists flood the airwaves saying either I’m too stupid to understand the hidden meaning in those words or that I’m too stupid to be able to choose a health care plan that is best for me and my family and our budget.
Obama clearly said, "If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan, period." Guess what? We can't.
He said, "That means that no matter how we reform health care, we will keep this promise..." Guess what? He didn't.
He said, "No one will take that away, no matter what. It hasn't happened yet. It won't happen in the future." Guess what? They are and it's happening now.
We are barely one month into the exchange roll out and millions ARE already losing their health care plans and their doctors. In the months to come millions more will also have their health care plans taken away.
Knowing what we know now about ObamaCare, how can anyone look at me with a straight face and say I’m still crazy to think…to question…to doubt that Obama wants to take away my guns?
He was ABSOLUTELY CLEAR on his comments regarding our health care plans. That has proven to be a lie. Why should I believe any different when it comes to his ABSOLUTELY CLEAR promise on not taking my guns?
When the gun Nazis storm my house and raid my gun safe will the pundits on the left tell me I was too stupid to understand what Obama was saying? Will they tell me that hidden in those remarks were nuances that only the highly enlightened can understand?
Folks this man is a MONSTER…a DICTATOR…and yes, a LIAR. I don’t throw those words around loosely. He is dangerous and he is destroying the very fabric of our once great country.
What else has this man looked us in the eyes and knowing lied about? I’ve pretty much realized all along that it is just about everything. Well not everything. He did promise, “we are going to fundamentally transform America.” That is one promise Obama has not broken. Unfortunately for us, that one promise is breaking the country.
