The following statement comes directly from whitehouse.gov website...
"For Americans with insurance coverage who like what they have, they can keep it. Nothing in this act or anywhere in the bill forces anyone to change the insurance they have, period."
Even the website says "PERIOD!"
The page is entitled "Putting Americans In Control of Their Health Care."
That statement is STILL on the website while at the same time Obama is giving speeches attempting to rewrite history...attempting to rewrite HIS OWN words.
Here is what he is saying now...
"Now, if you have or had one of these plans before the Affordable Care Act came into law and you really liked that plan, what we said was you can keep it if it hasn’t changed since the law passed,"
How in the world can Obama and Carney look us in the eyes and with a straight face say we are not — and have not been lied to? Watching Carney's press briefings of late have been painful to watch as he struggles for a coherent thought. He may need to borrow Obama's teleprompter just to help him keep track of all the lies he is trying to juggle on behalf of his boss.
Rush Limbaugh is correct when he states his belief that this is the biggest Presidential lie told in his lifetime.
"This is pathological. Obama is now saying he didn't say what he said.
So given the highly personal aspect of this issue to people, the
president of the United States lied -- purposefully, knowingly,
willfully -- about the most important thing in most people's lives.
He lied for his own gain.
He lied about the most personal aspect of people's lives.
He deceived them all for his gain, all for his party's gain.
This is a flat-out deceitful, an intentionally deceitful lie that was only made to benefit Obama and the Democrat Party. When he lies and gets away with it, everybody else gets harmed. You don't keep your doctor. You don't keep your policy."
I would argue that Richard Nixon resigned over actions far less worse and egregious than the like-it, keep-it lie Obama was campaigning and reelected on.
Yes, Nixon had an enemies list, but Obama went further and targeted his enemies via the IRS, DOJ, and NSA. Nixon may have wished to do something on that scale - Obama actually did it. Yes, Nixon disgraced the office of the Presidency and embarrassed his party. Obama's lies and actions are stripping away our freedoms and choices, destroying capitalism, costing Americans full-time jobs, at the same time robbing our children, our grandchildren by drowning us deeper in debt.
You know it's bad when even the mainstream media no longer runs cover for the Obama. Ron Fournier of the National Jorunal wrote, "It might not seem possible that President Obama could do more harm to his
credibility and the public's faith in government than misleading
Americans about health insurance reform. But he can. The president is
now misleading the public about his deception."
Wow! Pigs must be flying somewhere when Obama's devotees write something like that.
All I know is Obama better start wearing flame retardant pants.
